Is there a minimum rental duration?
The rental contract needs to run for at least 6 months.
How much is the deposit and when will I get it back?
The deposit amounts to two months’ rent. The deposit is usually refunded within 4-6 weeks after the end of the rental period.
Why is it required to have a personal liability insurance for the rental period?
A valid liability insurance is required when staying with us. The personal liability insurance protects yourself against any costs incurred in the event of damage to property during your rental period.
Can we move into the room as a couple?
Our rooms are intended for single occupancy. The bed and mattress in the room measure 90 x 200 cm.
Is it possible to view the rental property?
As our private residential wings with the communal areas are already occupied and the privacy of our tenants is very important to us, we try to avoid on-site viewings. Please feel free to ask us directly whether a viewing is currently possible. However, thanks to our 360° tours, you are able to get a first impression of the rooms and communal areas at any time from the comfort of your own home.
Is it possible to terminate or extend the tenancy agreement?
Premature termination or extension of the tenancy agreement is only possible under certain conditions. You are very welcome to contact us in this matter at any time!
When is the start/end of the rental possible?
Depending on availability, the tenancy begins on the 1st or alternatively on the 16th of the month. The tenancy ends at the end of the last calendar day of the respective month. The exact move-in and return dates only take place on working days and are agreed upon individually.
How are the room and communal areas equipped?
Our rooms are fully furnished, but not fully equipped. Please remember that you will need to bring your own personal items such as cutlery, crockery, bed linen etc.
The communal kitchens are equipped with ceramic hobs, ovens, freezers, microwaves with grill function, dishwashers and sinks. On the 2nd and 3rd floor, you share your fridge with another person and have your own kitchen cabinet. On the 4th floor you have your own fridge and your own kitchen cabinet.
What is included in the gross warm rent?
All prices quoted are gross warm rent including WLAN and ancillary costs. Only the TV & radio tax as well as the use of our washing machines and dryers in the building are not included. A one-off cleaning fee of €150.00 will be charged at the end of the tenancy. There are no additional processing or agency fees.
Which requirements do I have to fulfil as a tenant?
In order to draw up a tenancy agreement, we require the completed registration form (consisting of all six pages), a copy of your ID (VISA and residence permit if applicable), proof of liability insurance, proof of income of the last three months and the purpose of your stay at CREON. You are also welcome to nominate a debtor who will sign the tenancy agreement with you. In addition to the registration form completed and signed by him/her, we also require the debtors three most recent proofs of income and as well as a copy the identity card.
How many roommates do I share the communal areas with?
Our residential wings on the 2nd and 3rd floors each have eight rooms. You share the large communal kitchen with all of your roomates and one bathroom out of four will be used by two people together.
Our residential wings on the 4th floor each have five rooms. You share the large communal kitchen with all of your roommates and one bathroom out of two will be used by two or three people together. The bathrooms are allocated upon handover.
Will my room be cleaned during my rental period?
We clean the surfaces of the communal areas (communal kitchen, communal bathrooms, corridor) once a week. The tenants are responsible for cleaning their rooms and everything else. Vacuum cleaners may be borrowed free of charge from reception during our opening hours.

Where can I find the CREON CoSpace in Berlin?
CREON is located directly at the popular Viktoriapark on Kreuzberg, Berlin’s highest natural elevation in the city centre. The Platz der Luftbrücke underground station is a two-minute walk away, and the entrance to Tempelhofer Feld is a few steps further on. It is only ten minutes to Südkreuz station and 15 minutes to the Tempelhof-Schöneberg motorway exit.
The charming Chamissoplatz with its weekend market is just around the corner and Marheinekeplatz with its large market hall is also not far away. Bergmannstraße and Mehringdamm are always inviting for coffee, snacks, strolling and going out.
